Ooh, X-FILES movie

Variety  is reporting the new X-FILES flick will be in theaters on July 25, 2008, and both David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson have signed. Yes! :) Snippet from article said " Studio is keeping the film's logline under wraps, but stressed the pic is a stand-alone story and supernatural thriller that takes the complicated relationship between Mulder and Scully in new directions."

Yep, filming should start beginning of Dec I believe. I have the 10th in my mind but I don't know if that's correct.

Of course the biggest mystery will be why does Scully now talk like the Queen?

Except it's been so long since I've seen X files that I've forgotten most of the mysteries and revelations. Maybe the movie will inspire me to rewatch the show. Or at least the earlier seasons. ;)

WOOO!!! FOR THE WIN! XD Oh, man, next summer will be full of Awesome Movies. First Indy 4, then X-Files, then hopefully High School Musical 3. The relationships comment makes me curious - I was a die-hard shipper from the day I started watching, but some of the way CC dealt with the MSR really annoyed me (um, Mulder writing Scully a love e-mail staring "Dearest Dana"? *throws up a little in her mouth*), so I really want to know what that means... :P

Woo Hoo! Loved X-Files and DD. Got Californication on my Sky+ but can't bring myself to watch it yet - I mean it's DD but all I see is Mulder!!

Whatever happens in the film I bet Scully misses seeing the vital bit with the alien!!

It stuck in my mind because it was such a horribly bad moment. :P On the other hand, there were moments like Scully asking Mulder to be the father of her child that still make me squee... :P
