Joe Flanigan at VES Awards

 Stargate Atlantis was nominated at the 6th Annual Visual Effects Society VES)  Awards, held this past Sunday. Although they didn't win in the best visual effects in a broadcast show category, Joe Flanigan was threre. Picture of Mr. & Mrs. Flanigan below the cut :)

Great picture! Joe looks tired though, doesn't he? And I agree, the beard should go, but the 5 o'clock shadow should stay :)

I've often wondered if he always grew a beard on hiatus, or discovered the joys of not sharving after having to grow one for "Epiphany."
