Mixed feelings on this, if it is true. Yay, if I can watch it online (which is how I keep up atm), but Sky One (who shows it in the UK) always starts showing the new season around Sept time - the same when SG1 was around as well. This is the first time that it has been shown in the UK not long after it's been shown in the US. If Sci-Fi show it in July (which is when they used to) then Sky One will most likely still wait until Sept, as they have done all the years previous (that I can remember, anyway)!
On the whole though, yay, because I'm an online watcher anyway due to Sky One and the cable company (Virgin) having a fall out and so I no longer get Sky because husband refuses to change to satellite (and I felt they were trying bully-boy tactics with Virgin and so won't go to Sky on principal!). A friend vids it for me to tide me over until the DVDs come out ... and thank goodness to online sites!
Sorry, that's probably TMI!!! But just pointing out that UK peeps who don't watch online will most likely be behind again if it goes back to its July promo.
(And I know, I probably shouldn't watch things online, but I can't wait!! My ratings don't mean a jot being UK based anyway and I always buy the DVDs when they come out - in fact I buy them as they come out in volumes and not as a complete boxset as I can't wait to own them, and that costs £15-20 more... And I'd buy the downloads if I could *mutters darkly*!)
