I saw problems like this at another hotel once. It all boiled down to lack of money and the hotel chain trying to keep its properties afloat, and profitable, but with putting as little into the infrastructure as possible. 9/11 put a huge ding into the hotel industry, and now the Monday Meltdown has done the same and well, also, um, er, no offense, but it is New Jersey. I swear every hotel I've stayed at in NJ has had problems!
