Merry Christmas!

Or Happy Holidays, or whatever you choose :) Hope your day is joyous and mellow. :)

Meanwhile, a gift for the Stargate Atlantis Sheppard 'whump' fans on my flist. Photo under the cut for size :)

Now that was almost the best present of the day!!! My MP3 player just beat it out, but not by much!

Ooh, MP3 player. Gotta get one of those one of these years!

I absolutely adore mine. This does happen to be my third one but it is the coolest by far. Each one has lasted a long time. Hubby has this one and decided to be proactive to in giving me a new one for Christmas as my current one has begun acting up.

Now I have Creative Zen one with 32 Gigabyte of space for songs, videos and photos!! Flash drive will be better than the hard drive type we have been getting. We use and abuse them too much. A purse and a drink holder is not what they are designed for.

/ramble. (i'm just a bit excited about my music)

Then I'll have to learn how to download music. Nope, still haven't done that!

I started by ripping music from my cds. Windows media player does that easily. Now I have a *ahem* program that records anything I play on the pc and I have a converter to change it to an MP3.

I don't pay for downloads

Scary thing to say that most of my music is on, er, oh, um, records...

Those big, black, plastic round things with a hole in the center? I think I have one or two (hundred) of those hiding in the attic. I actually still play them occasionally but I don't want to break my player or wear out the needle.

I always laugh when I pull out an album at school and the kids are absolutely fascinated to see and hear them. Of course the needle died on that player and we can't find a replacement.

yeah, those things ;)
