I thought it was a Friesian, but wasn't sure.

For a "rare" breed, they seem to be the horse Hollywood has chosen for the "damaged" good guy in ancient times. :)

Yes.....I've been seeing them in movies more and more. For quite a while now, actually. They certainly are becoming more popular with horse owners, for sure. I can't believe the number of Friesians for sale on dreamhorse.com.

I lease a Cheval Canadien/thoroughbred mare who is a blue roan. Her winter coat comes in mostly black, and with her long mane and tail, she looks like a Friesian!
