I think David Hewlett has perfected the 'jerk' role. He's sooo good at it. This is what Rodney would be like if he was taken off Atlantis and given a dumb Earth job ;) Well, the science aspects (lack of safety precautions) were the big plot holes, but without them, there'd be no movie.
