Personally, I prefer PSP...however, you will probably find more resources for PS on the web. Each have their quirks...and sometimes using both in combination can work well...

Just be aware, the latest of PS requires at least a gig of RAM. And avoid installing the suite where possible. The amount of crap it installs tat you will never use is shocking.

If you are going for PSP, get PSP-X...
