Jason Momoa: Take off that hat!

New photos have surfaced of Jason Momoa from Stargate Atlantis, as well as a brief article on the photos... Alas, he's got a hat on, so we can't tell how much he cut his hair, but at least we know it's not a, phew, buzzcut.

Lenny Kravitz, taking his ex-wife Lisa Bonet, her baby girl Lola, 3 months, and her boyfriend Jason Momoa or a birthday dinner at Nobu in Malibu. (Bonet turns 40 on Nov. 16.) While it was Bonet's big night, the main focus of the dinner was definitely Lola: When the baby got fussy, Kravitz let Bonet enjoy her salad while he cuddled and calmed the infant. When everyone finished, Kravitz and Momoa teamed up, strolling the baby to Bonet's car before everyone departed.

I think he looks SO much better! I hated all that hair, since it looked all dried out and dead. (Okay, ALL hair is actually dead, but his LOOKED it!)

And in the one pic, that IS his stunt double Grant, who is crazy and LOVES getting slammed into walls, etc. Per Joe F. at one con AND I asked Grant about this when I was on set--and he agreed!

Ah, thanks for the details! :) I saw Jason in one movie, er, Johnson's family vacation?, and he had long hair, not dreadlocked and I just wanted that hair on MY head. So gorgeous!

According to Joe Mallozzi... Jason was allowed to cut his dreads off on the proviso that he kept them.. and prior to filming Season 5 they will be sewn back onto his head (in a process that takes several days)! This is necessary because the events of the first ep of Season 5 will be set straight afetr the events of the Season 4 finale (like with First Strike and Adrift in Season 3 and 4) so Ronon has to have the same hairstyle as in Season 4. They can then look at writing Jason's change of hairstyle into the show later in the Season (rather like they did with his new tattoo).

Oh, it's been news around. Yeah, he chopped 'em off as they were a pain, literally. They saved them and Dex of course will have 'em in the beginning of season 5, but nobody has said anything about future episodes. If he does a con, somebody's gotta grill him on that.

Just browsing.... and was pleased to see photos of Jason and his new hair do. He actually has pretty nice hair... hmm, is it me or every guy on Atlantis appears to be going for the big and fluffy? First Sheppard, then Beckett, then McKay with the fluffy though not a lot of hair and next possibly Ronon!
