Stargate Atlantis ads during marathon - several videos!

Whole bunch of Stargate Atlantis ads shown during the marathon and yep, think I caught 'em all. As usual, crappy quality as I aimed a digital camera at the TV. If you hear any suspicious scratching noise, er, um, the cat chose an inopportune momement to scratch the rug. Aieeee..

Oh yes, these ads Do contains SPOILERS.

Anyway, previous uploads include the Christmas marathon themed ads (2 days until, then the one done with the song).

New ads (several in each)

1) Short ad, Stargate marathon continues, Dvice (without a ZPM...)

2) Speechless (short then long version)

3) Inside look - Teal'c vs. Ronon; inside look - wraith vs. replicators

4) Dvice - travels in style; inside look - humans vs. replicators

Enjoy! Feel free to link back to this site, but please don't hotlink to PB account. Thanks.

Call me bad, but I'm looking forward to the Ronon/Teal'c thing. And even though I'm an a long time Stargate fan, I'm putting my money on Ronon. The classic line is 'Old age and treachery will overcome youth and skill', but … we’ll see, won’t we. :}

Well, the testerone fight is just well, overdone. Teal'c is rather stuck in the macho Jaffa warrior stuff (like Worf was in Trek) but Ronon seemed smarter than that.

That's what I'm thinking. Teal'c hasn't been fighting as smart the last couple of years [bad writing, directing, something], where Ronon is just plain feral in his approach. Teal'c's smug when he wins, but Ronon - when he kicks someone's ass, looks gleeful.

On top of that, Teal'c is coming into the pack where Ronon is defending his alpha spot in a pack he already a member of. Nothing against John, but they both know Ronon defers to him because he chooses to.

Gonna be interesting. I have no doubt who's the alpha in that pack.

I soooo hope Ronon wins.

Ronon will kick ass. And then grin about it. :}

But I don't understand--all I'm seeing is Tin Man when I'm at Sci Fi. Wasn't the marathon supposed to go through the evening?

[identity profile] wraithfodder.livejournal.com 2007-12-25 01:00 am (UTC)(link)
Well, a couple days ago, some moron figured TIN MAN would do great, so they kicked out the 5pm-11pm slot with SGA adn stuck in the miniseries. THey'll start up SGA again at 11pm till 2 or 3 a.m. Truly sucks. I must remember to write a 'bah humbug' to Scifi for doing that.

*And* they dropped 'The Siege, Pt 3'.

Morons!

I see DVDs in my afternoon. And a glass of something festive and probably alcoholic.

Apparently Skiffy can't show season 3 until it's out of syndication or something like that. Thank god for DVDs.

[identity profile] margec01.livejournal.com 2007-12-25 01:26 am (UTC)(link)
Sci-Fi idiots! What's the point of promoting the heck out of something and then you change it at the last minute?

I hope my buddy at work took the chance to catch up on some season 3 SGA earlier today. He's been watching SG-1 reruns to see Amanda Tapping, and when I told him she moved over to SGA, he became interested in the show (finally!).

I gave him the marathon schedule you posted a week or so ago. If he turned it on later in the day and sees Tin Man, he'll just give up I'm sure. One of the more casual viewers, but you never know, he might be a Nielsen family. Besides, it's fun to talk about SGA at work to someone who enjoys the show.

I have NO idea. They're pushing TIN MAN as the #1 everything (if so, I have no idea how it got that status) and right now, I found a nice log burning on a local channel and will leave that on till it ends, before SGA picks up again at 11pm. Yup, would rather listen to the crackle of a fire than the miniseries on skiffy.

Mm! Can't wait! (I'm not sure so many people will be speechless, though: I think the previous ad may have spoiled us *ggg*)

SciFi ads are always full of spoilers. You oughta see the Twilight Zone ones.

I can't wait! especially with the Teal'c/Ronon Fight and the Kindred part 1 and 2!! Thanks for sharing!
