MGM - Stargate Atlantis "Lost Tribe" photos

MGM has put up photos from this week's Stargate Atlantis episode THE LOST TRIBE at http://stargate.mgm.com/stills.php?series_id=2&season=5&episode=11#anch11

However, what is great about these Stargate Atlantis shots is the little thumbnails make *great* LJ icons, as you can see from the one I'll be sticking up on this post. Gotta tack on something like some "Geek!" on it ;)

Use the fork, Luke!

You Are a Fork

You are truthful, direct, and straight forward.

People find your honesty to be a bit piercing at times.

You are driven and wildly ambitious.

You know what you want, and you take the most direct path to getting it.

Well, it's half right ;)

Jason Momoa at airport

Gah, yes, I have Google alerts for the Stargate Atlantis actors and this URL popped up, of paparrazzi taking snaps of Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet.

Here's one picture.

The photos are much larger than this, and you can find the rest of them at http://justjared.buzznet.com/2008/10/06/jason-momoa-lisa-bonet/ (10 pictures in total, and most contain Jason). I don't know, but in some shots, he looks a lot like Steve Bacic, who has done a number of Stargate SG-1's...

MGM Profiles Kavan Smith

Normally I don't post all the stuff on Stargate Atlantis from MGM here, but wow, they profiled Kavan Smith - Major Lorne. Yes!!!

http://stargate.mgm.com/news_detail.php?id=99

Here's a snippet. Rest at link above.

“Going way, way back, I was actually up for Michael Shanks’ role in the original series,” Smith explains, speaking, rather ironically, from a seat inside the disused Stargate SG-1 gateroom set. “So I knew some of the producers, and particularly Richard Dean Anderson’s partner Michael Greenburg. He was always looking for a way to get me on the show.”

Smith had a bit of a wait before that happened – seven years, in fact, until an episode of Stargate SG-1 entitled “Enemy Mine”, appeared which called for a geologist named… Evan Lorne.

Thank goodness they didn't go with the geologist role!
