Murder attempt thwarted

Today the cat tried to kill both me and the dog. Nearly succeeded. Cat tripped me and I went flailing into the side of the dryer and also half-landed on the dog, who is now gimping around. Think he sprained something but at this hour of night, ice and inactivity will do and maybe vet tomorrow (because he's constantlyl banging up that leg tripping down the outside steps).

Aieee, evil cat..... suspect I'll have to nice bruises tomorrow.

Ouch! Hope you and the poor doggie feel better soon. I don't have a cat to trip on but I do manage to trip over the dogs often. It isn't fun for anybody!

Ah the joys of cat ownership. They think they are so stealthy, and all they really manage to do is make more chaos. Hope poor puppy is better and you are bruise-less.

Maybe open a can of wet food and not give to the troublemaker as a punishment?

Alright that might be a little cruel. :P

Dear diary,

today my owner tried to kill me again by trying to step on me with her great big paws, flailing about and crashing down, making so much noise my ears are still ringing and I nearly had a heart attack. Dog looks at me funny.

meow

I got attacked by a Ram when I was a teenager. My brother had told me to kick it in the head, he didn't say DON'T kick it in the forehead because that's rock hard :P

Ouch! Hope you and the dog are ok. I'm sure your cat didn't mean any harm...LOL!

Don't cats realize that if they kill their owners, they won't really be sent to live "on a farm"?

Too bad you didn't fall on the cat!!

And the cat's probably upset you didn't see/know where it was going. They seem to forget we do feed them...

*lol* I feel your pain and very much understand it.... Lovecraft is a mostly black cat and one night, in my old apartment, I was stumbling off to bed without turning on lights, figuring that I didn't need them, I was just going to go straight to sleep anyway....

So, I go over to the window to go pull down the blinds, since LC liked to sit up in the windowsill to watch the birds and squirrels during the day and don't see this black lump laying on a pile of clothes under the window.

He squawks at me stepping on him, I lose my balance, manage to plant one hand on the wall and the other on my desk which is right there. I still have too much forward momentum, however, and manage to catch the side of my chest, along the side of the "padding" right where the underwire for a bra goes. I ended up w/ the biggest bruise there and looked like someone had punched me.

It damn well hurt to wear a bra for like 2 weeks after that. I laughed that I was a domestic abuse victim of my cat. ;)

I feel for you, been there and done that many a time. Also, try explaining to the drywall guy why there is a hand sized gaping hole in the wall, dog chased cat and tripped me, oi!
