Local weather channel is talking about severe thunderstorms (warning, as opposed to watch), but now, tornado warnings. Ouch. Fortunately they didn't list my town but then when does the weather pattern respect what the weathermen say?

Meanwhile, the plus of having an old car sitting outside that if that horrible hail does come, well, I guess I can live with the dents...

And, with an older car and dents you can live with, you could get a nice insurance payment, too. Well, if you kept up your comprehensive, which some folks don't do on an older car.

Well, I wouldn't get much. Car is pretty old and has rust and such. However, the storm blew north and deposited hail and flooded other areas. We had some good rain (not monsoons, phew) and some thunder, but not much else.

No tornadoes, but the weather folk, whoever, will check out a water spout sighting elsewherein the state. More t-storms predicted for today.

Worst of all? The lawn isn't mowed. Well, half of it is, and it's SOOOO obvious. Normal cut lawn, half a foot by the time this rain is done on the other side! Squirrels will probably like it though...

Well hope those t-storms have passed and your lawn properly mowed, or at least being well used by your squirrel neigbours, whatever they like to do with long grass. LOL! XD

t-storms come and go, fortunately nothing bad. as for the lawn, got it done this week. lot of work as it was so long, but, I found a cool leopard slug. you can visit my LJ to see the video! ;)

Hmm, kinda makes me happy I'm in sunny hot Florida spending my days in a pool :) Although I DO have 2 kids with me so it's not like I'm lounging in the pool with a drink in hand.
Hubby informed me last night he had no power at home - glad I'm here and not there ;)
