Ha! Yeah, they're alive and not scattered across the yard ;) they're quite cute, as is the bunny, which ate ALL the lettuce in the garden. Oh well, that'll teach me to not shut the gate... of course, maybe it was the big leopard slug. They ravage gardens, too.
Curious little things arent' they? Beautiful. As for the lettuce, I am just jealous of fresh home grown veggie. Summer was terrible here this year, and I just couldn't take the heat long enough to plant anything.
If people didn't build up so many macmansions, knock down so many trees, and get rid of natural predators, there wouldn't be an overload of deer. yeah, I see 'em hit by cars all the time. squirrels more so.
Awwww! They're so cute. We used to get lots of deer running through my neighborhood, but now, it's all been converted into housing, so their appearances happen a lot less often. :(
Meanwhile, on the roads, I've spotted some of those godforsaken Hummers. WTH? Australians don't drive cars like that. It's ridiculous. I don't know why it's happening suddenly. There aren't a lot of them, but there's one down the street from me and I've seen a few others around.
We've generally driven smallish cars here, the largest being a 4WD. Those things are just monstrosities!
