It's back!

I just checked and unless my computer is playing tricks on me, dgeek.com is back online! It seems none the worse for wear, so I think David Hewlett figured out the problem.

Can anybody else access it? I've had no virus or spyware alerts so it seems safe now (as apparently before, you'd get sent off to some other site).

I'm pretty sure the reconstructed site is current up to 8/9 so there were posting days lost, but compared to losing the whole site I'm all for it.

I checked earlier and was able to access the site, but not the forum. Which may have been a temporary thing or just my computer messing with me? Either way, yay for site being back up!

He twittered about it, so I think this is the real deal. I'm just hoping whoever hacked it did it for stupid lulz and won't be bothering to be malicious. I really don't want any more stress for David than he already has! He seemed pretty upset :(

Hacking is malicious no matter how you look at it, as it's damaging someone else's work, like those moron kids who run over mailboxes. grrrr.....

I can get on again now. Weirdly, i'm having problems with it at work still - i can get on, but i can't log in. When i try it either just refreshes the page and i'm not logged in, or refuses to display the page at all, very odd... :S
