Bambis in the Mist
This is what I saw this morning in the yard! A family of deer (minus the one fawn who met a foul fate with the local coyotes, sigh)

My mum used to have issues with kangaroos eating her roses. She lived on a block that didn't have a back fence, and backed onto state forest.
The roos would come for breakfast each morning.

Thanks :) I think it's a gerbil, but it might be a hamster. Darn, just a cute little rodent is all I know :)
