I want one!

Isn't this just adorable? A cowfrog, or a froggycow. Mooo-toad? Anyway, it's adorable. I could stick it in the front yard, which would annoy family to no end but if no neighbors spotted the dead deer, they won't notice a green cow-frog.

Snurched the BBC site, from cows in Costa Rica for a parade.

if they made that moo-frog as a little model, i'd buy it. i don't need it, but i'd buy it :)

So would I!

Now, if this cow had turned up in the boat in Doppelganger, I think Sheppard would have every right to worry about McKay's mental state:

Bwahahahah! Sheppard would have jumped out!

So far have not found that particular one as a model. Darn.

The cows are so cool. Especially that frog cow. (Frow? Crog?)

It reminds me of a thing that happened in my city a few years ago. A bunch of artists decorated cows and they were placed around the city for the public to look at before eventually being auctioned off. (I think it was for a children's hospital. I could be wrong.) But those cows were very similar to these cows.

Crog. I like it :) Yes, they did the cows on parade in many cities, toronto did moose, someone did chickens, another pigs.

We had the Cow Parade here in Madison WI about three years ago. It was amazing. If you google "Cow Parade", you can see photos from past ones on their website and the history of the event. It's very cool.

I think Chicago did a cow parade a few years ago - and you could buy models...

[identity profile] wraithfodder.livejournal.com 2008-09-13 03:53 pm (UTC)(link)
You can still buy models, not sure if it's the chicago ones but definitely the models are out there.

ooo, I love the frog/cow hybrid! :)

[identity profile] negolith2.livejournal.com 2008-09-13 03:39 am (UTC)(link)
Something like that needs to make it into a fic. Can't you hear Rodney's scream when he looks out a window and that's stuck to the wall of Atlantis looking in at him? =^.^=

[identity profile] wraithfodder.livejournal.com 2008-09-13 03:55 pm (UTC)(link)
And his resultant screams as they drag him off in a straitjacket as no one can see it ;) Ooh, write it! Write it!

[identity profile] negolith2.livejournal.com 2008-09-13 05:19 pm (UTC)(link)
But, but, but I stayed up 'til 12:30 the last 2 nights writing my penis sheath story (which will be posted shortly). I'm tired.

Brain, I told you. I'm tired. Stop with the gorram images already.

Damn, it's not listening.

[identity profile] wraithfodder.livejournal.com 2008-09-13 05:24 pm (UTC)(link)
Your *what* story?? Um, do I want to know...

Yeah, Iv'e got ideas about the crog story right now...

[identity profile] negolith2.livejournal.com 2008-09-13 05:31 pm (UTC)(link)
Your *what* story??

Let's just say, of all the trade sealing rituals that the team has had to suffer through, this one takes the cake.

It's called 'Kirkendorf's Tribe'. And when roomie was proofreading it last night, I thought for sure she was going to fall out of her chair, and I swore I could hear everybetty's giggles all the way out here in Montana.

Crog. PERFECT!!

[identity profile] wraithfodder.livejournal.com 2008-09-13 05:59 pm (UTC)(link)
Ah, okayi, yes, I remember you mentioning this story and I can't wait to read it. I won't ask about the story as I want it to be a surprise :)

[identity profile] parisindy.livejournal.com 2008-09-13 05:37 am (UTC)(link)
OMG i want the frog cow!!!

[identity profile] wraithfodder.livejournal.com 2008-09-13 03:54 pm (UTC)(link)
Heh, we both do! Alas, we'd have to go steal it from someone in Costa Rica and it might be tough getting through baggage claim ;)

[identity profile] parisindy.livejournal.com 2008-09-14 02:03 am (UTC)(link)
hehe i wonder what Canadian customs would say hehe?

[identity profile] wraithfodder.livejournal.com 2008-09-13 03:55 pm (UTC)(link)
Probably gets good mileage too ;) (ah, whenever I see hybrid I think gas mileage)
