Happy Halloween!

Hoping everybody has a grand time, or at least gets to dress up at work. Sigh, alas, where I work is stodgy you can't even do jeans on Fnriday. Bah Humbug. Oh wait, wrong holiday.

I should take pictures of my Halloween setup outside the door if the squirrels don't decimate it while I'm at work.... The pumpkin needs, er, work since it's had several holes chewed in it!

Happy I bought my car day today \0/ (We don't celebrate Halloween in Australia)

No Halloween? YOu know, I never thought about what folks did in Australia about Halloween. Now I know! ;) What kind of car did you get??

Hyundai Getz, 1.6L, ABS and ESP. I've named him Bluey because he's red. And he's a he because if he does something wrong I can bad mouth the blokes :D

Post pics! I'm always amazed by how festive Americans get. Your Thanksgiving, Halloween and Christmas decorations -- we have nothing at all like it. Coming back to Melbourne after seeing the Christmas decorations in NY, in particular, was bizarre. We had pretty much nothing...

Yup, I'll post. I made a crime scene motif finally. Yeah, the commercialization of H'ween, T'Day and Xmas is incredible. Gonna be bad this year (economy-wise) as they're already going Xmas sales and H'Ween isn't ever over! I LOVE Xmas decorations but can do without the insane "buy! Buy! buy!" everywhere.

The pumpkin wasn't savaged, of course, it was at the front door, not the back, where there are less tree rodents ;) Tomorrow or Sunday I'll hack it up and let them feast!

I just got a talking down to by the office supply delivery man for daring to say "happy halloween" to him. He proceeded to tell me (in great detail) what an evil holiday Halloween is, why he considers it evil, and that since he became born again he doesn't celebrate anymore.

Sigh, I should have kept my mouth shut!! Anyway, Happy Halloween!!!

Eek. Halloween is not an evil holiday (unless you consider the rampant consumerism and pushing of sugar-chemical-laden candies evil). I don't celebrate so much as like to drag the skeleton out of the attic and put it on display, and now, drag Zombie Bambi's remains off the wood pile for display... ;)

I'm in my Anne Boleyn dress with the Tudor Rose embroidered chemise. I did take off the French hood to drive and to answer the phone--it doesn't work with my headset.

Lucky! No dress-up (or down) where I work :( Sigh. First job I've ever had that hasn't done Halloween.

Happy Halloween! Post piccies, unfortunately I can't really do Halloween deco as I live in an apartment. But I did go to a school party yesterday dressed up as Supergirl. :D

Sounds like fun! Yeah, would be hard to do Halloween in an apartment.

Happy Halloween.

I'm not celebrating this year as my favorite way to celebrate(that was *supposed* to be happening) apparently isn't.

So I dropped the toddler off with my dad and sister at my grandmother's house so she can go get me free candy. *evil laugh*

I'm just sad that after the advertising they did, that the local firehouse doesn't have their set up this year. I mean there is absolutely no better way to spend the holiday than oogling Firemen. I miss being able to order them around as well(I used to be the community liason who came in and helped them set up and run the whole thing when I was in high school). Oh well, lol.

Bummer on no firemen!
