What I saw in the back yard this morning

Ooh, a buck! Wow, I know they go through the yard, but it's been a coon's age since I saw one with antlers! Photo is fuzzy as I blew up the shot since the camera has a pretty crappy zoom.

Awwww! You know, it's funny - I see a billion and one does around the Magic Kingdom, but I can't recall ever having seen a buck.

I was coming home from somewhere one night & was like 3 miles off the interstate on my way into town (I'm 12 miles from I-44 into town & my front door) when I rounded a corner and there was a buck trying to commit suicide on the road in front of me.

I was like, "Dude, do you *not* want to grow up to be a 10 pointer?" :p

After all, I already had a doe go bouncing off the left front fender a few years back *right* at the door, so the door wouldn't open all the way, because the fender was creased there.
