Cat teeth + last night's big moon :)

Since I managed, quite by accident, to catch this yawn, I felt I should immortalize it on the web. My cat:

And, took a few shots of last night's moon - you know, the fullest moon in the last 15 years. Not the best pictures, but what the hey ;)

From the back yard. There were some clouds too.

This was taken tonight by a reservoir. When I walked down to it I suddenly discovered that the path I'd taken last week was gone - it was filled with water. When I shined the flashlight around, I found out that we'd had so much rain that the reservoir was up by several feet!

The reservoir under moonlight..

Love the pics - especially your cat - mine gives me his yawn, followed by his 'it's a hard life' look before going back to sleep.

oh wow. seriously wow. I was driving around and saw the moon. Didn't take the time to stop though. Are these full size? I'd love to see a larger shot of #3 if you happen to have it.

Had to use my coffee cat icon. Mine just gives me nasty looks if I interrupt their beauty sleep.

Thanks for the pix. I went out to check the moon out last night but never thought of bringing my camera with me. It was such a bright, clear sky too. A few fluffy white clouds. Quite beautiful.

And nice catch of your cat! :)

Well, I was all prepped to take shots of teh moonly awesomeness, even to getting the old tripod out ... and we had 8/8 cloudcover and freezing drizzle here in Southern England. *grrrr!*
Your shots are gorgeous, though. I love the second one with the trees. The last one is *amazing*. How long an exposure did that take?
And your cat frightens me ,,,,

Wow, I so wish I could of seen the moon.

Instead we had hours 18-26 of snow. Then it stopped. But was still cloudy.

The cat picture made me think of Bela Lugosi: "I've come to suck your blood!"

Oh wow! What a timing!

And for the moon shot, Beautiful!

The moon back home was huge and beautiful! We were coming back from the video store, my dad and I and the moon was in front of us. I think it spanned almost 3/4 of the road! Too bad we didn't have a camera!

Love the moon shots. I didn't think to take pics of it last night. I did get some from the Harvest Moon in Oct though. It is just relaxing to me to look at a full moon.

Great cat yawn too!

But shouldn't you have been locked up on the full moon? ;)
