Oooh, Peter Outerbridge. Have always liked him and glad to see him guest starring in something I can see :)

Kari Matchett is the actress with whom Michael Shanks had those love scenes in 24. She went on to co-star in a TV show called Heartland that also co-starred Morena Baccarin (SG-1, Adria) and Danielle Nicolet (SG-1, Reese). Heartland was the reason that Morena wasn't as available as the producers would have liked for Stargate: The Ark of Truth (she was there for only one day of shooting).

Great guest cast - 2 cast members from "Men with Brooms"!

Peter Outerbridge is the best.

I remember Peter from his guest star days on THE COMMISH. Glad to see he's in something that's coming across the border :)

I remember Heartland (never saw it, but heard about it). Ah, love the little backstories.

I agree with your reaction to Outerbridge. I miss seeing him in ReGenesis.

Yeah, and I only tripped over REGENESIS a few months before Ion pulled it. DArn. Wish it was out on DVD!

I'm thinking it might come out on DVD once the series finishes the syndication run in the US.

I gave up on rewatching the syndie run. They've chopped it up (not nearly enough of David acting like an ass or showing his ass *g*), plus the schedule is all over the map depending on your local channel. It's like the early syndie days of SG-1, which Don S. Davis once said you've need a hunting dog and a Quija board to find when it was on.

Yeah, I heard it got hacked up a bit for syndication. :( Sure glad Flashpoint is on network!

ReGenesis wouldn't have made it on an American broadcast network, nor a standard cable one either.

It was on the Canadian equivalent of Showtime, and this icon (no offense meant *g*) wasn't something all that unusual to see on the show, and the f-bomb blew up pretty regularly as well.

BTW, have you thought about posting your Flashpoint link lists to the Flashpoint LJ community? Some get posted there, but not all.

Ah, yeah, the 'finger' wouldn't make it network tv here. ;)

I was actually thinking about posting the link lists tonight. OOoh, insert Twilight Zone music! ;)

is this series SWAT? Here in Portland, thankfully I live in
the burbs, it is NOT considered
PC to refer to them as SWAT so Portland calls them SERT.....
it just kills me how embarrassingly correct the loons are
in Portland.....

*does a happy dance of joy because the last episode was awesome*

This show continues to astound me with its greatness. Seriously.

Also, point of interest...you've been MIA on GW. What gives?

Jessica Steen! \o/ I have loved her since Captain Powers! Awesome!

[identity profile] wraithfodder.livejournal.com 2009-03-04 12:38 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, think she'll be on Flashpoint for a while!

[identity profile] wraithfodder.livejournal.com 2009-03-04 12:56 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, it's like a SWAT team, but a different name. But instead of calling it SRU (for strategic response unit) it's Flashpoint - guess that boiling point when it all goes to heck and you call in the SRU.

I'm quite happy with it too.

well, can't think of anything to say on some threads (like the whump thread - my mind has blanked) and I post sporadic news. And have nothing to say right now on Universe. Plus real life has eaten up a big chunk of time.
