Joe is doing two more Creation Cons

JOE FLANIGAN TO HEADLINE TWO STARGATE CONVENTIONS!

We're happy to announce that super-popular JOE FLANIGAN has signed aboard
two of Creation Entertainment's Official STARGATE SG-1/ATLANTIS/UNIVERSE
Conventons coming to LOS ANGELES on NOVEMBER 6-8, 2009 and to VANCOUVER on APRIL
15-18, 2010 (Joe's our first guest at the annual event that is the mecca
for all Stargate Fans!

Both of these conventions are going to be FANTASTIC and LOS ANGELES already
boasts a wonderful guest line-up including BEN BROWDER, MICHAEL SHANKS,
PAUL McGILLION, CLIFF SIMON, RYAN ROBBINS and ROBERT PICARDO. Should be an
amazing time especially since our FARSCAPE Convention is going on in the hotel
the same weekend and there are some great guests there as well (including
Stargate's CLAUDIA BLACK!).

Everyone can get autographs and photo ops from guests at each convention
and gold patrons can go to the other convention for free (space permitting).
An awesome deal: 2X the guests, 2X the fans, 2X the fun!

It was so, as Rodney would say, 'not fair' the other night when
Sci Fi showed Search and Rescue.
I was thinking, 'why are we forced to watch reruns?'
At least I have a ream of ff which keeps me in touch with
Pegasus....

I also saw the clips from Warehouse 13 and was struck by
how much I wish JF had thrown his hat in the ring for that
lead........it would sure fit him.
BUT maybe he doesn't want anymore to do with SciFi channel.

Wow, I sure hope he made the meeting!
Can't wait to find out what he's up to next.

Lets hope Joe made the meeting and that it went well.

I would so love to go see him. And it's almost right in my backyard. Grrr. I wish it wasn't so expensive.

SyFy is planning a reboot of Alien Nation - and wouldn't be the part of the human cop be just perfect for Joe? I mean, he did talk about penning down a series about a cop hunting down alien criminals, so...

Whoo-hooo! I was EXACTLY hoping Joe would sign up for LA this year when I decided to buy a ticket when I was there last year. I was able to move up to third row, center seat, so I was hoping for somebody big. Now if they'd only get David as well. Hey, he lives in LA now, soooooo......

To have them both on stage at the same time--how cool would that be? However, Creation already has two of the biggies that weekend with Michael and Joe, so it's just wishful thinking. And as long as Creation doesn't waste our time with any SGU guests, it looks like it will be good. (For a Creation con anyway.)

yea, Claudia Black is also going to be at comic con.

In a fit of, I don't know what, The SGU and Farscape panels are on the same day/ same time... different rooms. I guess they are trying to split the fans. :( I wanted to grill them (the producers) at the SGU panel.. but I don't know I will, if it means missing the Farscape panel. *sigh*

Phase two of the Save Atlantis campaign has just started (July 10 - Aug 31.) Hope you will join us by mailing in postcards (see links below) and also in about 3 or 4 weeks, an email blitz.

One more thing, anyone going to Comicon in San Diego? And if so, might be willing to help out the campaign a little? I need someone to check in at the table where our postcards will be -- and let me know if I need to bring more on Sunday (the only day I can attend)

Also, would be great if anyone could help put out/up a few flyers. Again, do not want anything to take too much time. For example, you have flyers with you. Hand them out while waiting for a talk -- just pass them down the isle. Or post them on the inside or outside of bathroom stalls or doors. basically, carry it with you in a backpack, and use the spare time you have while waiting :)
