Oh my word. This is simply amazing.
Speaking of them, have heard about about the (((thousands))) that have washed up on the beaches in Florida?
They showed it on the news the other night and how terrible it is if anybody steps on them.......severe problems.
BTW Woods Hole is where I used to leave my car and take the ferry over to Nantucket.
Do you live near there?

Yeah, I try to follow jellyfish in the news :) Alas, no, not near Nantucket.

I go to the jellyfish exhibit at the Monterey Aquarium sometimes to just sit in the darkened area and watch the jellyfish float by in the big aquariums. They have this nice music and it's very relaxing you can completely forget that they're predators.

It's an amazing aquarium. I love that place and Monterey is beautiful too. It's very peaceful downstairs with the jellyfish and other deep sea creatures and the big main aquarium with the sharks and sunfish is so cool. Definitely worth a visit.
