Torri Higginson on CSI: NY

Thanks to pellmelody over at torri_higginson   for the news. Apparently Torri Higginson had to cancel out of the London Film and Anime Convention as she's busy filming an episode of the top-rated CBS crime drama, CSI: NY. No word yet on the episode, but it's very likely one of these two:

#406 "Boo" or "#407 "Commuted Sentences"

The CSI franchise seems to be a great place for former Stargate actors to keep working. I mean, Michael Shanks, Ben Browder, Joe Flanigan, Carmen Argenziano, and Corin Nemec have all appeared on one of the series.

According to the con organisers, she cancelled out of LFACC because she missed her plane coming from the filming...

Yeah, she cancelled out literally the night before, sadly. :( Which sucks, 'cause I know a couple of fans who literally flew around the world to see her there. Ah, well. Apparently it wasn't so much a scheduling conflict as it was filming that ran over. Sucky, but I'm really glad to see she's at least found a guest role. I've never seen CSI, but I'll definitely check out that ep! :)

I'm glad to see that she is finding other projects to do. Sorry for the fans that wanted to see her. I meet her in Vancouver, a really nice person.

She'll be sorely missed on SGA.. I've had to psych myself up for the coming season in order to have any desire to move past her last episode. I doubt that episode I'll be able to watch more than once. I've only seen the Carson-dies episode once, the night it first aired- haven't seen it again since.

Torri's last episode will leave the same intense feeling.

Oyi.. I only like the origional CSI show: Las Vegas. However, given it's Torri, I'll make a concerted effort to see catch those two eps of CSI:NY to cheer her on.

Do you know which CSI series (Vegas, NY or Miami) Joe was on? And, if you do, any idea which ep it was? Must not've been Vegas as I don't ever recall missing an episode.

JOe was in the CSI Miami episode "Slow Burn," in which he played a real mean SOB who beat up on women! Check www.titantv.com and since Miami is in strip syndication, it'll pop up soon enough ;)

Yay! :) I'm glad to hear it. I like CSI:NY, mainly because it has one of my favorite actresses, Melina Kanakerades. Can't stand CSI:Miami though, not even to catch JF's or MS's guest starring appearances. :S So I'm glad she's not on Miami.
