did u notice on joe M's weblog that he said this-
T writes: “There were so many wonderful performances, and some really great episodes strongly critically received in season 4, were any others submitted for consideration?”

Answer: Noop. We only had enough money for only one submission so the producers unanimously decided to go with Jewel Staite for Missing.

i dont hate the keller character, and i think JS is a fine actress, but seriously, WTF?

Quite honestly, WTF is what many fans are saying, and I'm not anti-Jewel, or even anti-Keller (except when she whines or practices bad medicine, but that's the writers). Anyway, David put in good performances, i can see why Joe can't get nominated (maybe?) as he's US, not Canadian. I keep posting "nominate The Shrine" but so far, no response.

Could Joe M. possibly have been using some of that dry humour?

I mean, I get it. They're all geek-boys living vicariously through McKay and thusly heart Jewel Staite since Firefly, but still. Way to screw over the other actors if he wasn't joking around (especially Rachel since that was a Teyla episode).

oh yes, definitely geek boys and i'm sure it's JM's dry wit *cough* we're seeing.

Looking Good....

This Ep looks good, I hope it builds up into another Arc instead of sticking with the independent storylines....

That voice over...jeeeesh. Huh stuff with the iratus bugs and experiments is always a creepy thing. One can only hope for very bad things that go bump in the night :-P

Haha! That's just what I was thinking. I don't think I've ever watched an MGM episode promo before, but that voiceover...it made me laugh hysterically, then get kind of scared. If all I knew about Stargate was that promo, I don't think Voiceover Man would have convinced me to tune in...
