My reading list

Well, I finished the Private Lives of Spiders, and have put it on my 'must buy' list when I have spare cash. I returned it to the library and the lady at the desk said 'thank you' and as I walked away I heard her go "eeuuu!" and another woman said "What's wrong?" and the lady said "Spiders!" so obviously she hadn't quite seem what the book was until she turned it face up. Oops.

Meanwhile, picked up Head Cases  (author: Michael Paul Mason) from the new book aisle. It's a book on stories of brain jury and its aftermath. Looks rather fascinating.

Just wathed the first hour of Heroes and have no idea what's going on, so am going to record the rest and for some unfathomable reason, watch CSI: MIami! ;)

Watched the first hour of Heroes and walked away, though we still have no working TiVo. I understand enough to be really unhappy with where things seem to be going. Hope CSI:Miami proved more fun!

*nods* Although My mom just watches to comment on how Horatio is based on Jack Lord's character from Hawaii 5-0. I just watch it for Ryan and Speed.

So I picked up a new book, the other day at the library that apparently invokes fear and terror amongst all who lay eyes upon it.

"War and Peace"

As I was checking it out the librarian asked who was reading 'that one' and I told her I was at which point she said 'good luck!'

My math professor, said that we need to have a discussion about my definition of 'fun' and a couple other people have just flat out said I have 'issues'....

somehow i get the feeling i'd have to be marooned or jailed before I picked up that book ;)
