Update on Jason Momoa

To the many fans out there concerned about Jason Momoa, I spoke to the big guy this afternoon and he’s doing fine. He’s on the mend, in usual high spirits, and looking forward to eventually coming down to Vancouver and kicking some alien ass. I let him know you were all worried about him and he greatly appreciates the thoughts and well-wishes.

 Edit: Found out via a fan's post on another board that Jason will be attending the Burbank, CA Stargate convention this weekend. He's set for a Sunday appearance. So, he must be doing better if he can do a con! ;)

I just read that too. I'm glad he's feeling better. According to Creation he has not canceled his appearance for this Sunday's convention, so hopefully it's not as bad as it sounds.

Well, I've seen what 100 stitches in a face look like. It's possible he could have bandage over the stitches at the con, but I"m glad he feels well enough to do the con. Me, I'd be... freaking out. For one thing, I scar easily. Gads, I can point at my body and go 'this cat did this, dog bit me here, oh, stapler...."

I'm glad Jason is bouncing back - I'm sure we'll get reports back from Burbank on Sunday.

Ah, my pets have been trying to do me in for years (although I have scars from the neighbor's dog attacking me when I was a kid, and a friend's dog attacking me as a kid).

Yeah, the main thing is that he recovers completely from this incident. Geez, I just can't imagine one person doing that to another, but alas it happens all too often :(

True and putting make up to cover the stitches would not be a good idea when they are this fresh.
