David Hewlett Says Goodbye to Stargate: Atlantis

http://www.tvguide.com/News/David-Hewlett-Says-1001310.aspx

excerpt:

David Hewlett has played the arrogant and often irritating Rodney McKay on Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis since 2002. As the series comes to an end Friday (9 pm/ET, Sci Fi), David reminisced with TVGuide.com about his adventures playing the obnoxious McKay, what is was like smooching pal and cast mate Jewel Staite (Dr. Jennifer Keller) and the possibility of appearing in the upcoming Stargate movie.

TVGuide.com: I spoke to your costar Jewel Staite—
David Hewlett: She's a liar. Everything she says, absolute lies! Don't believe a word of it!

Ah, now if they could just interview Joe (I know they won't but I can dream).

I find it disturbing that it sounds like he hasn't even been signed on for the movie yet.

I would have thought they'd be trying to make sure they had the cast locked in for the SGA movie. But meh, what do you expect.

I just hope there's gonna be a move.

Alas this confirm that TPTB couldn't care less about the SGA movie :(. None of the actors confirmed yet, no story written yet, and everybody being too busy trying to tell people that the new show will be "super awesome giga fun" :s.

Blah, at least I've got SGA DVD's and I can organise simulcasts with friends to remember the goodness that SGA used to be :) (okay, okay, I'll admit it's more to drool on the pretties, but still :p).
