MGM: Vote for Your Favorite Stargate Atlantis episode - Blu-Ray DVD

MGM is letting fans vote, so let's get some good Sheppard episodes on the DVD! Yeah, one day I'll buy a Blu-Ray DVD player ;)

The odd thing is that one of the questions is what did Sheppard bring as a personal item. Now we all know he has the Johnny Cash poster, but in season one, it was actually stated that he brought along a recording of a football game as his personal item. The poster item is the correct answer according to them though.

Sateda??? I liked Ronon character development, but the direction on that ep was terrible.

I just voted and "Sateda" wasn't there, so it probably changes all the time :)

Wrong football team for recording, for those who are really detail-oriented.

Gotta admit I don't follow football at all. Football, baseball, eh... but that was the personal item he first brought in season one ;)

Ack, only two of my favorites is on the current top 10 list.

Am I the only one who loved Conversion and Search and Rescue?

Wait. Does this mean instead of releasing the complete series on Blu-Ray, we'll get a sample disc that we have to pay for? Is this a test balloon for the complete series? If so, do they take into account that some people might wait until they release proper sets? *sighs*

But thanks for the heads-up. It's cool that they're even thinking about SGA on Blu-Ray.

Not really sure. I just chose my favorite episodes and clicked.

Wish we could vote for five vs ten. The list isn't bad so far.."Rising" and "Vegas" were on my list, but would love to see "S&R", "Common Ground" and "Conversion" on there as well. Heck there are tons..

Oh, put the whole series out on Blu-Ray. THAT would make me buy a Blu-Ray player! But then I'd need an HD TV.Oooh, slippery slope of credit card charges :(

Ah, well when I saw game, my mind actually thinks 'tape of game' :) And the only reason I know the names of any sports figurs are when they do somtehing stupid and get plastered all over the news.

No love for Doppelganger? *blinks*

I voted for it. Not getting up there I guess.

I love Letters From Pegasus. I can't help it. Zelenka and his Czec explanation, Kavanaugh's sooky dobbing (Dobbing is another word for tattling), Beckett's sobbing "I love you Mum"

Kavanagh was such a twit in that ;) and Zelenka's scene was incredible. So many choices!

so i wrote them and mentioned that poster as choice, when most of didnt agree. and also the misspelling of his name. sheesh. here is their answer
Hi:

Thanks so much for writing.

I just checked the legal link a few times and I could get it to work but that does not mean anything if you cannot! I will have the tech guys check it first thing in the a.m.

To answer your research question. I have been a Stargate fan, in addition to being the Digital Manager for this show for three years, for 14 years. I personally double checked and the poster is listed as a personal item. Yes, you are absolutely right the Boston College football game was a personal item, as well as War and Peace, but so was the poster, and we had that be the answer just for fun, not to be difficult, by any means!! If it really is causing that much angst, then I can change it out, no problems. I am not that hung up on the questions!

Also, the spelling error is one that the QA should have caught, as should have I – looking back at the development link from Friday night it was spelled correctly, so I think someone must have corrected it before going live! Thank you for pointing it out, I appreciate it.

Sincerely,

Jenny Stiven

Hmm, the thing is that the football game (whowever it was) was actually said "You brought that as your personal item"). The poster appeared after they were to EArth and back.

The question is a murky one. Unless you're a football fan and know who Doug Flutie played for, you wouldn't know. ;)
