Update on Joe Flanigan's "Change of Plans" telemovie

Thanks to a few folk on twitter (@Suzieb45, Lunnyb12), here is information on Joe Flanigan's new movie for FOX tv, "Change of Plans" - http://familymovienight.com/change-of-plans/ - I've screencapped the page for posterity, but look, a trailer coming soon!  It'll air on Fox on January 8, 2011.  I love it, his character is a fighter pilot :) and they mention Stargate Atlantis as a credit, too.

Oh, it says "World Premiere" - I wonder if that means that we're going to see it here in Germany on Fox too on Jan. 8th.

And on an absolutely, totally shallow note: I'd love to see him in his flight suit. *G*

i think they use the words "world premiere" to make a tv movie sound grand, but it could still show up elsewhere in the world

Would love to see him on my TV screen every week. Something to get me through another work week. And he looks so darn good in that suit, but I bet we might see him in the flight suit on occasion, too. I could live with that. Hope it does well!

Yeah, but Fox isn't known for letting a show find an audience. It would probably do better in finding an audience on CBS. Lets hope Fox lets it find an audience! I hope it does very well though!

As kariesue said below. P&G and Walmart just want to buy up time blocks so they would be ones in charge. In interviews Joe said it was nice working with a production company that wasn't controlled by a network..lol

I heard P&G and WalMart are buying up all the advertising time for the movie and would do the same thing for the show. Apparently they feel there is very little on tv today that they can advertise on. I have to agree. Most shows are trash or not appropriate for families to watch. So hopefully FOX will take this into consideration that the show will already have confirmed advertising and allow it to find an audience. I would be soooooo happy!!

SOmeone mentioned that the actress was on American Idol. I don't know as I never watch that show, so she might be more well known??

She is known not as an actress but as a singer and a song-writer. That is her first acting role.
