Heck yes! Joe Flanigan has said in a whole BUNCH of interviews that he really wants the writers to come up with a backstory and now he's getting his wish!

I know! But it's worth the wait. Maybe it'll be a very interesting backstory! I'm suing the writers if it isn't good. No, that's not a good idea since TV writers have been going on strike. Heard anything new about that?

Well, they're canadian, so they're not on strike (except for Carl Binder, who's a WGA member).

Think it was just a flaw on the video and resolution or digitizing or something, cuz the tie isn't THAT bright! ;) But I couldn't resist when I got that cap :)

No, this kind of moire pattern is a well-known effect (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moir%C3%A9_pattern#Moir.C3.A9s_on_TV_screens) of wearing certain sorts of clothing on TV, and there is *no excuse* for the costume department not to have known it.
