Kavanagh Dies! *cough*

Well, the odds are stacked against him ;) Ben Cotton, who played Kavanagh, probably the most reviled character on Stargate Atlantis, is in the cast of CBS's limited run series HARPER'S ISLAND. Anybody who has seen the ads knows that someone dies in every episode. He didn't die in the pilot, so he should be in the second episode. He plays Shane, the Townie.

My bets are on the older characters first, so Richard Burgi is bound to get knocked off soon. But I am very much enjoying seeing him as long as he lasts! And I am LOVING Ben Cotton.

Can you give us the dummies version of what his character did in the first episode?

Ben Cotton's character works as a fisherman along with his buddy. The whole deal is the rich kids and the really lucky kids leave the island (or only stay for the summer if you're rich), the poor kids are destined to work the docks for the rest of their lives. He really really hates the suicidal brother of the groom and has gotten into a bar fight with him already (the series is set around the wedding of a poor son and a rich daughter). He has alot of tattoos and he is pretty. And that...just about sums up what we know so far ;)
