Michael Shanks joins 24.. cute kitties, bad real estate, suicidal squirrels & Momoa & Nykl

First, first...

Okay, onward to the good and bad news. http://www.michaelshanks-online.com/news/index.shtml reports that MICHAEL SHANKS has signed for a recurring role in the Fox hit 24. Bad news is that the show is opposite HEROES, but well, that's what VCRs are for. Don't think anybody knows if it's for this season or next, if anybody can keep track of when actual seasons really begin anymore...I've never seen an episode but guess I will now :)

As to bad real estate, well, it's worth a million dollars, if the guy doesn't mind traveling through a massive ditch and scaling a dirt wall to get to his front door. You gotta see this picture. Only in China... http://www.ananova.com/news/story/sm_2237937.html - quite honestly, can't blame the guy for holding out as the land is probably worth that much!

They're not suicidal, they're just not too smart. It's not as though they can learn from their mistakes, since, well, the wrong bit and BZAAPPP!

I seriously give up with any show that has new episodes to be made...because MS in '24' should = NO!

I've never bothered with "24" as they tend to kill too many people off (wouldn't be surprised if MS's character meets an untimely demise) but if he shows up, I'll tape it to see his scenes as I won't know what's going on anyway ;)

'24' is one of those shows that is an acquired taste. That said, they have a better idea of character development and it is one of the main things that makes me seethe with fury over the SGA PTB ideas about heroes...
I'm actually struggling to see what kind of a character they would have in mind for Michael...white dudes generally end up being sub-contractors then croaking it...
