O_O Oh man, I would so love to win a lunch with J.Flan but I fear that I could not afford it. And even if I could afford it, there would still be the issue of flying across the little pond known as the Atlantic Ocean and all kinds of other costs... But whoever wins that will be a *very* lucky person.

That Kayak Paddle sounds cool too. :)

If only I had enough money to spend on that bidding... *sigh*

[identity profile] wraithfodder.livejournal.com 2008-04-17 12:57 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, that's most of our problem - the money!

[identity profile] alipeeps.livejournal.com 2008-04-16 01:06 pm (UTC)(link)
*sigh*

If only! Well.. I guess if I win the lottery some time in the next 2 weeks...

*rushes off to buy lottery tickets* :D

[identity profile] wraithfodder.livejournal.com 2008-04-17 12:56 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, I should buy one or two just to pay the darn heating oil bills!

Yikes! Anyone remember what it went for a couple years ago, the last time he did this?

Oh, if only...

[identity profile] anjak-j.livejournal.com 2008-04-16 03:27 pm (UTC)(link)
As I recall, somewhere in the region of $10,000.

Like [livejournal.com profile] alipeeps said, only if I win the lottery...

P.S. I have some pics for you from Bridge...

$10,000 really? damn if I wasn't recovering from massive debt I'd say anything under 3 would be slapped on a credit card and made into a very cool vacation on a one year payment plan.

Good for him and his charity!

$10K is a bit too rich for me. I need a new car.

[identity profile] vecturist.livejournal.com 2008-04-16 06:52 pm (UTC)(link)
Hmm, they said this is valid for two people, so maybe I can find someone who'd want to go in (split a bid) with me...

Still, think I'd be a little nervous if I won something like this, which would mean I'd be spilling food on myself, knocking over glasses, and babbling...

[identity profile] shansgrl.livejournal.com 2008-04-16 11:15 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh thank God, I thought I would be the only one to think that!

[identity profile] wraithfodder.livejournal.com 2008-04-17 12:41 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, hadn't thought of that....

[identity profile] vecturist.livejournal.com 2008-04-17 02:42 am (UTC)(link)
Let's just say sushi is not a good choice. I love sushi, but was really nervous on a first date - complete klutz with chopsticks, dropping pieces and splattering soy sauce everywhere, then managing to knock over the bowl we had for dipping the tempura vegetables in (we both had white shirts on to boot). Did manage to get a second date, though.

[identity profile] ladyniko.livejournal.com 2008-04-17 01:01 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, I would be the babbling fool and knowing my luck, I would spill something on my self. (I seem to be a magnet for ketchup and/or any type of red sauce, I swear! :-p)

[identity profile] shansgrl.livejournal.com 2008-04-17 01:06 am (UTC)(link)
Oh my, I believe we may have been separated at birth. ;)

Just the thought of having that kind of one on one time with him? Damn near makes me hyperventilate!

[identity profile] parislove27.livejournal.com 2008-04-17 03:17 pm (UTC)(link)
I would love to, but the money would be the issue.

And school.

And time.

And commitments.

Looks like I can't even try it. But thank you for telling us all about this.
