Stargate Atlantis at Comic-Con #31: The SGA spoiler trailer is online!!

The Stargate-Atlantis Comic-Con spoiler video is now available!

This 2.15 minute video does contain clips from season 4, but they go by so fast, you really can't get spoiled (unless you know NOTHING of the cast changes, then, er, avoid).

has an interview with Amanda Tapping. She talks about Stargate Atlantis, SG-1 and the movies. Excerpt: MS: You just made the big switch from "Stargate SG1" to "Stargate Atlantis" this season; how is the feel of working on Atlantis as opposed to your time on SG-1? AT: Honestly, it's different. It's very different. I think that with the SG1 cast, we didn't act as seriously because we had been together so long. There was a lot of laughter and a kind of goofiness. It should be illegal how much fun we have... and get paid for doing it. With Atlantis it's fun. It's a different vibe. It's a little more serious. I still love going to work everyday. It's been so welcoming and its been very nice. It still feels different, but maybe that's because my character is in a different position so I have to sort of "step it up a bit". It feels like I'm playing a different character in some ways. I feel a little like a fish out of water.

And then, on a more logical note, interesting take to the trailer with the mix of SGA and SG1 clips... seems to be a) presenting SGA as carrying on the Stargate torch, as it were, and b) even sort of suggesting that this is an amalgamation of the two shows... that going forth this is a continunation of the stories of both shows?

Yes, yes I'm fully aware of the concerns (I have my own, honestly) but that preview just has me so excited and hopeful that this will be the best season yet.
