RDA actually lives in Malibu and is a single dad, so I understand and respect his decision to leave.
What I'm hoping for on one episode, is for Carter to push something through (a mission, a test etc) against Sheppard and McKay's wishes, and for it to go really badly (I'm thinking it could be like Carter's version of 'Trinity') and for her then to have to apologise.
And Carter is most definitely a Mary Sue...kinda scary as the producers on that show seem to be allergic to female writers
