Ohmygosh, these are the *cutest* the CUTEST hedgehog pictures I have seen!

Not swiping any as you should just visit the link. It's work safe, etc.

Aw, ain't it cute? Baby crowned lemur named Kibongo,  born December 24, 2007 and resides at a zoo in Vincennes, near Paris Crowned lemurs are considered vulnerable to extinction by conservationists

If you haven't seen it, check out this video of a new polar bear cub at a German zoo.

CNN Video

I mean, look at this little face :) and wow, she's got a web page already! http://www.nuernberg.de/internet/eisbaer/

and then there's Raz, the aye-aye, which will probably freak out half of you, so I'll put his little mug under the cut

Not me. The squirrel. Got this in one of those forwarded emails. Virus-checked it, seems safe, so am sharing it with the rest of the world and kudos to whoever created this!

I want to be that squirrel getting massaged. Sigh....

Snerched from, um, I saw this on Yahoo news, on the BBC and other websites. It's a deepsea jellyfish.

It looks like a strawberry jello mold with a hubcap on top and overdone spaghetti strands sticking out of it ;)

These are mini pigs! Again, Yahoo and BBC, me thinks.

David Hewlett said at his Twitter:

"Miller's Crossing" will see two different shades of McKay thanks to my 5 days in Hawaii ;-)

Home again! Hawaii! Helicopters, active volcanoes, moray eels and giant sea turtles...now I face the "inbox"!

So.... lots of makeup to hide the sunburn? or a lab accident to explain the red? ;) Hoping we'll see a photo of him on his site soon.

And, in the oh-so-cute department, snerched from Yahoo news, this is a picture of an actual puppy in Japan. The marking apparently is one of those freak things that happens.

Snerched from Yahoo news. Description - in this photo provided by the Zoological Society of San Diego, five South African bat eared fox kits have emerged from their birthing den at the San Diego Zoo's Wild Animal Park on Friday, June 8, 2007.

Now I wish I had taken this shot, but we have no fox kits around here, and the only fox in the backyard (seen it twice) is just a blue of red as he/she hightails it to cover if a human pops out of the house. Sigh. Otherwise, we have sugar-addicted squirrels and seed-stealing chipmunks as wildlife, and the occasional deer...

But isn't this picture just an ......awwwwwwwwww, so cute moment?

Saw the SCB people on the TODAY SHOW this morning (when did this show go to 3 hours?) Anyway, at the 28 minute and 58 minute marks, when Matt Lauer was outside with the crowds, caught glimpses of at least two people there holding up a blue adn white Scottish flag, plus saw part of the banner for "Save Carson" - Beckett never made it on the air, at least not that I caught.

Meanwhile, the press had two more articles:

Oh, too cute not to snerch off the Yahoo news site and repost here. The evil little polar bear cub a few idiots think would be better off dead. Eegads. Yahoo News also has links to videos. Soooo cute. Just wait till he's a 1,000 adult male. Yikes!

That's it. Nothing else to report. Dresden Files is doing a marathon, so I suddenly realized, I'm not gettng my Special Unit 2 fix tonight....

EDIT: and just one more cute piccie...

Realistically, could care honestly about sports. I even forgot the football game was on and when they announced the winner, I went 'who?' but I did want to pop a tape in to see the ads.

But.... they're all online!

Ad Age.

You HAVE to watch the Blockbuster Mouse ad. Apparently it's a few years old, but it was the best of the bunch. Inventive, strange and highly amusing :) And the Budweiser ad with the guy and his girlfriend picking up hitchhikers with axes and Bud was hysterical. Just a warped list twist on all the movies where idiots pick up hitchhikers who eventually kill them. ;)

Picture snerched from Blockbuster's official site. Aw, look at the teensy litle mouse ;)
