I'm with you about the Carter scenes - I thought they were boring and didn't do much to move the plot. Plus she automatically assumes Rodney made a mistake.
On the other hand, my love for both Ronon (his scene talking to Elizabeth) and Radek (all his bits, which were great) grew even more. And Rodney! John! They were great, and I liked John's "just keep me in the loop" and "dumb it down any more and you'll get hit" bits.
