I personally didn't like Carter's speech for Kate. I mean, she didn't even know the woman and she speaks like she's been there since day one. Pffft! I don't know. (And what happened to the whole concept of the expedition being run by civvies? That's out the window? Have the IOA and Stargate Command actually addressed this major change in direction and I missed it?) I didn't like the idea when we found out Carter was 'crossing over' and they still haven't managed to change my mind on that. But this is only EP 4 so who knows?
But all in all it was a good EP, most points you brought up I agree with - the good and the bad.
