Exactly. And you're right; would have been perfect for Weir. It's almost like the writers didn't realise they were supposed to be writing for Carter. ;)
I rewatched the EP again yesterday (crappy weather) and it struck me again how Keller went from never being seen (we know why, she's a new chara but it's still implied she's been on Atlantis for a while) to always being there now. It's like she's glued to Carter's hip or something, and all of a sudden part of every aspect of the running of the city.
And while I can understand that Sheppard and McKay (and maybe even Teyla) may want to make Carter feel welcomed, would they always be sitting with her, having meals, chats, etc? (actually, I think you mentioned that above somewhere) That 'gang' just seems to be getting too close way too fast. It feels forced.
And I know this is about Reunion, but am I the only one having a problem with the fact Carter went on the rescue mission? With Sheppard and McKay missing, shouldn't she have stayed behind and be the leader she's supposed to be?
