On the other hand, a whole heap of raspberries to Alan McCullough, Jewel Staite and all the other TWO HUNDRED OR SO people at Bridge Studios who allowed her to say “a bacteria” when the singular form is “bacterium”! Jeez, even the people at Wikipedia know better than that. (I bet Joe F. aka Mr SuperSmart, knows better too, but was too polite, and/or amused, to say anything.)
