My biggest gripe is that oh yeah, they had to shove her in the show, and now, she's not there when you need a command figure to give the obligatory blessing on the rescue mission.
Besides in Missing, wouldn't someone have contacted Sheppard before Ronon came up to him and said, "Hey, Teyla's not back?" Like, they wouldn't be trying to find out what's holding up their CMO? Procedure and check-ins notwithstanding, ya'know? *thoughtful look* (That whole "at war with evil creatures" scenario that they've been dealing with for 3 years now? :p)
