I nearly placed a bid on the Backstage Pass last night, but wanted to make absolutely sure they had my name on the transferred ticket--which I couldn't find out until today. As the evening wore on, I gave more consideration about how nervous this would make me throughout the whole con, and what the heck do I have to say to these guys anyway. I've spent the money and have enjoyed the set visits, but on the set you have an interesting process to watch, with ready-made topics of conversation.
Anyway, I gave it a pass--at least this time. I reserve the right to try it at the Vancouver con in April! (g)
