Found your lj through a google search of "Miller's Crossing You're No John Sheppard" when I was looking for the actual line. Thanks for posting it! I nearly broke a rib laughing when I heard that.
LOVED that Rodney called him "John", and I loved John's ability to manipulate if it would save Rodney. He never struck me as a Slytherin before that. :-) Really, the best eps are where one of them is in danger and the other has to save him.
I don't have cable/satellite, so I'm just watching season 4 now, they came out on DVD at the end of June in case you were wondering why I'm thinking about this so long after the ep aired :-D
