It also sounds a little reminiscent of what happened with Michael Shanks, although in that case he was the one to walk. You're right - they definitely need some sort of a personnel management course.
I hope they would see what you said, that she was just frustrated with how it was done. I hope that fans don't now go screaming accusations on JM's blog though. It was a rotten thing to do, but I don't think that would win any friends. :S *sigh* I really hope she comes back though. I've been really surprised at how much I missed having her around. For me, it was always about John and Rodney, but I didn't realize how much she added to that dynamic until she was gone. :(
