Good grief, didn't expect this much response to my post!
I know when the premise for SGA first came out, I was like, yech, sounds awful, but I did watch it. I won't condemn anything without trying it first... and became an instant fan :)
And if you don't like a show, just don't watch it. Don't hang around and bash it.
