I'm sure he'll face repurcussions because he didn't trust in the Magic of Rodney to come up with a last-minute save, but I actually think that triggering the self-destruct when there's a full-blown Wraith invasion establishing a beachhead under Cheyenne Mountain is the right course of action. I'm not a big believer in emergency measures designed to protect the general population being cast aside if they jeopardize one of our regular characters. In that vein they should NEVER have allowed a Wraith on earth no matter if it was Jeannie Miller or the First Lady whose life depended on him.
