And yet another con where I miss seeing having the chance to meet you. I think that's at least four or five. You'll just have to remain the mysterious fontain of knowledge to me.
Thanks for the photos. I was so busy just trying to get around that con that I missed a lot of photo ops because I was lugging around my figures before I found out there was a bag check. I didn't get all that I wanted because a) not enough money and b) I had to lug them on the train and I didn't have enough arms to carry them all.
I got Dr McKay, Lt Col Sheppard and Dr Weir, all dressed in their color panelled uniforms. I didn't like the Field Ops Sheppard. I checked them all and the bulky clothes makes Sheppard's head look like a turtle. Most likely I'll end up buying it anyway, but as I said, I didn't have enough arms to lug them all home Saturday. Oh, and that's because I also bought a Desert Camo O'Neill and a Lt Col Mitchell to carry home.
Do you plan on opening them up? The collector in me says no, but the fan girl says how can you not rip open the packages to play with them?
According to some folks I spoke with, San Diego is at least 3 times as big. Gulp! I'm going for the first time this year. I hope I make it back in one piece! Now that airlines are charging for a second bag, I'm going to end up paying the equivalent of postage just to get my stuff home.
