To some, Las Vegas already qualifies as an alternate universe, complete with alien life-forms.

But “Stargate: Atlantis” puts that description into practice at Planet Hollywood, spending Monday and Tuesday in front of the casino, inside the casino — and on the roof, where a stunt player will perform a nine-story fall.

David Hewlett does Kung Fu! (the TV show, and another video for DH fans)

Between 1993 and 1996, David Hewlett (in his pre-Stargate Atlantis days) appeared in the WB (as in Warner Brothers) show Kung Fu: The Legend Continues. He played Nickie Elder, the coroner. Here is one snippet from the episode "Chinatown Murder Mystery: The Case of the Poisoned Hand" (which aired in April '95). He's awful cute in this, and at the end, watch the hand action! ;)
