Another set of thunderstorms rolled through, the second this week, and this time, it actually did lower the temperature. We were in the low 80s today, rather than the abysmal high 90s of last week. Anyway, this set arrived at midnight and I grabbed my el cheapo digital camera with video capability and stuck it against the window. The first video is better for sound - it's very dark, but you can hear the thunder and rain agains the window, while the second captures some lightning in the sky. Hmm, really need a decent video camera....

We had a big thunderstorm here in Eastern Pennsylvania, too! It included hail and high winds. Our temperatures were in the 80s before the storm and went down to the 60s afterwards!

The whole northeast corridor got hit! We were lucky not to have had hail, or tornadoes. I can't believe a tornado hit somewhere in New Hampshire..

We had some of Dolly's storms with a tornado hitting near my neighborhood last week. We needed the rain but we can do without the tornado!!

I love Melbourne! No Tornados or other ugly weather patterns. Just learn to deal with four seasons in a day :D

Yeah, it seems to be feast or famine when it comes to rain!

Yep, it can go from rain to cold to hot to windy in the space of a day. You just learn to wear a tshirt under a heavy coat and carry an umbrella at all times :D Just don't stand at the top end of Collins Street when the Antarctic winds hit. That's when it gets freezing.

That storm looked ominous! Thanked goodness we don't get them here looking that "dark".
